Important Notes
Due to various weather conditions, the restored beach is experiencing erosion on a daily basis. As a result, the size of the beach varies from day to day. In an effort to maintain the beach area, Bahia Resorts has placed sand bags along the ocean shore.
Environmental Sanitation Fees are payable in local currency directly to the hotels. As these fees fluctuate by hotel, you may contact your respective hotel for more information on the applicable fees.
Guests of Bahia Principe Grand Coba have access to the specialty restaurants* of Bahia Principe Grand Tulum.

A section of Bahia Principe Grand Coba will close from April 21, 2025 - November 30, 2025 for renovations.
Work will take place between the hourse of 8am and 6pm and will not involve demolitions or cause significant disturbances to Bahia Principe Grand Coba guests. Guests staying at the resort during this time, will be accommodated in villas away from the construction area.
During the construction period, affected dining services at Bahia Principe Grand Coba will be relocated as follows:
- La Casita (Food Truck) – service available at Snack Piscis (Snack Bar)
- Cozumel (Mexican Restaurant) – service available at Restaurante Tequila, located in Bahia Principe Grand Tulum
- Mashua (Japanese) and Mediterrnean Restaurants – service available at other Bahia Principe Grand Coba specialty restaurants, including Mikado (Japanese), Portofino (Italian), Le Gourmet (à la carte), as well as seven additional specialty restaurants at Bahia Principe Grand Tulum.
As of December 1, 2025, due to the restructuring of Bahia Principe Grand Coba, the restaurants La Casita (Food Truck), Mediterráneo, and Mashua (Japanese specialty) will no longer be available as they will be integrated into the new Bahia Principe Grand Tequila hotel. Bahia Principe Grand Coba will offer the following facilities:
